Team Lead (m/f/d) Accounting

What you will achieve with us:

• You will lead and develop our accounting team for Germany and support the gradual transfer of relevant accounting processes in-house.
• You will actively participate in the design of roles, audit levels, and approval workflows, ensuring uniform standards across the companies.
• You will coordinate the HGB-compliant monthly, annual, and consolidated financial statements of the German companies and support group reporting to Belgium via LucaNet.
• You will integrate newly acquired companies into the uniform chart of accounts and reporting structure according to our Finance Playbook.
• You will contribute your expertise on fundamental accounting issues, such as provisions or share deals, and coordinate closely with the Finance Director and Group CFO.

What you bring to the table:

• You are a certified accountant (IHK) or have equivalent qualifications; a degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
• You have at least five years of experience in German accounting, ideally from a multi-entity, private equity, or buy-and-build environment.
• You have already gained initial leadership experience and enjoy passing on your knowledge to younger colleagues.
• You are proficient with DATEV and are confident in dealing with German GAAP (HGB), including provisions and intercompany matters. LucaNet experience is welcome.
• You can communicate confidently in German and English at C1 level.
