Team Leadership Finance (m/w/d)

We are a mid-sized family-owned company and one of the world's leading providers of products for aquariums, terrariums, and ponds. After founding in 1970 as a two-person operation, we quickly developed into one of the market leaders and today have around 200 employees worldwide. Our headquarters in Heinsberg combines administration, research, and production.

For our location in Heinsberg, we are currently looking for a Team Leadership Finance (m/w/d).

Tasks

You…

• are responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team
• account for the debtors', creditors', and fixed assets' accounting of the entire company group (including international subsidiaries)
• are responsible for ensuring and developing all accounting processes, as well as implementing optimizations
• account for intercompany adjustments and settlements in an international context (EU, UK, USA)
• create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB; taking into account international standards (e.g. IFRS)
• create and control sales tax returns, ZM, statistics, and internal and external reports
• support the integration of new subsidiaries and harmonize processes
• work closely with tax consultants, auditors, inspectors, and international companies

Qualification

You…

• have a completed business studies degree (Finance / Accounting focus) or equivalent vocational training with further education to an international accountant
• bring several years of experience in internationally operating company groups
• have very good knowledge of HGB, IFRS knowledge is advantageous
• are confident in intercompany processes and reporting structures
• bring SAP knowledge as well as experience with consolidation tools
• are communicative, interculturally competent, and assertive
• have very good German and English skills; additional languages are advantageous
