Responsibilities

We are looking for a

Team Leader Field Service (m/f/d)

at our Düsseldorf location as soon as possible. As Team Leader Field Service (m/f/d), you will lead our field service team – consisting of internal technicians and external installation service providers – and be responsible for planning, managing, and ensuring the quality of thermostat and gateway installations. You will combine technical understanding of heating systems and mechanical engineering with commercial strength in deployment planning, service provider management, budget, and reporting.

• You will lead and develop our internal field service team and coordinate external installation partners.
• From capacities and routes to on-site implementation, you will plan and manage our installation and service deployments.
• You will ensure that thermostats and gateways are installed safely and on time, and that installations are fully documented.
• You will keep an eye on quality, costs, and key KPIs. In case of deviations, you will initiate appropriate measures and handle coordination in escalation cases.
• Together with Sales, Customer Success, and our partners, you will further develop our field service processes.

Qualifications

• You have several years of experience in leading and coordinating technical teams, as well as in planning and managing service or installation deployments.
• You are familiar with collaborating with internal teams and external service providers or partners, even with short-term changes and increased management needs.
• You have a technical understanding of heating systems, thermostats, and valves in the HVAC or comparable building technology environment.
• You can reliably manage capacities, budgets, costs, quality, deadlines, and relevant key figures.
• You are characterized by a structured, solution-oriented approach to work, as well as clear and binding communication with technicians, service providers, customers, and internal interfaces.
• You are proficient in using digital deployment, ticketing, and documentation tools, as well as common office applications.
• You possess a driver's license class B and are willing to travel occasionally.

A technical training in SHK (sanitary, heating, and air conditioning), heating construction, electrical, or building technology, ideally with a master craftsman or technician qualification, is an advantage. Experience with smart thermostats, gateways, IoT components, or quality and safety management will complete your profile.
