For our client, an established company from the cooperative environment in Saxony-Anhalt, we are looking for an experienced individual for the position of Head of Audit (m/f/d).

The company has been supporting housing associations and other clients for many years with high professional quality, reliability, and a clear focus on sustainable cooperation.

Diverse audit mandates with even workload

• Carrying out annual financial statement audits according to HGB, including statutory audits, voluntary audits, and special audits

• Processing real estate audits, merger audits, and broker audits

• Creating meaningful audit reports and presenting the results to clients

• Providing advice on balance sheet, business management, and tax issues

• Applying and deepening your knowledge in accounting and tax law

• Close cooperation with clients, tax consulting firms, and internal specialist departments

• Professional guidance, support, and development of audit assistants

• Contributing to ensuring high quality standards in auditing

What convinces us about you

• Completed degree in economics with a focus on accounting, taxes, or a comparable field of study

• At least three years of professional experience in annual financial statement audits according to HGB

• Good knowledge of tax law

• Ideally, experience in cooperative law or the cooperative environment

• Strong communication skills and a high client orientation

• Sense of responsibility, team spirit, and enjoyment in the professional development of others

• Willingness to undertake regional day trips within Saxony-Anhalt

• Driver's license class B
