Responsibilities

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of approximately 20 employees in the injection molding department

• Responsibility for injection molding production including PU foaming and tool maintenance

• Ensuring output, quality, delivery reliability, and profitability in ongoing production operations

• Management of daily business through shop floor management and key performance indicators according to SQDGM

• Initiation and implementation of Lean projects for process improvement and efficiency enhancement

• Optimization of production processes, capacity utilization, and personnel deployment planning

• Accompanying new tools from specification to sampling

• Evaluation and maintenance of relevant KPIs in the Arburg host computer system

• Control of production orders and feedback in the ERP system

Profile

• Completed degree in Plastics Technology, Production Engineering, or equivalent

• Alternatively, technical apprenticeship as a Process Mechanic for Plastics and Rubber Technology (m/f/d), Plastics Molder (m/f/d), Tool Mechanic (m/f/d), or similar – ideally with further training as a Technician (m/f/d) or Master Craftsman (m/f/d)

• Practical experience in a leadership role, e.g., as Team Leader Injection Molding (m/f/d), Shift Supervisor Plastics Technology (m/f/d), or Production Manager Injection Molding (m/f/d)

• Sound knowledge in plastics processing, injection molding, and industrial manufacturing processes

• Experience in team leadership as well as the ability to motivate and develop teams

• Expertise in Lean Management, Shop Floor Management, and KPI-based production control

• Ideally, practical experience with Arburg injection molding machines and Wittmann handling systems

• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems, preferably SAP

• Structured, self-reliant working style and a high degree of quality awareness
