Team Leader Software Development SPS (m/w/d)

The ekvip automation GmbH with its headquarters in Leipzig is specialized in SPS programming and worldwide commissioning of networked production facilities. We deliver state-of-the-art automation solutions for a global customer base and continuously expand our team.

Tasks

• You lead your team independently with knowledge and experience during project processing. In this process, you analyze and prioritize project requirements and coordinate or delegate tasks within the project team.
• This means that you have an overview of all project phases, from tender calculation to control programming, commissioning, and production support.
• You define goals for your team and team members, track these goals, and take action if they are at risk.
• You always keep the continuous professional development of your team or team members in focus.
• In addition, you communicate with management regarding deadlines, status reports, organizational matters, and convey relevant information to your team.
• You are responsible for medium- and long-term planning of resources within your team.

Qualification

• You have a university degree in the field of natural sciences, IT or engineering and it's easy for you to get familiar with new technical topics.
• You enjoy leading a team in the field of SPS programming based on trust, motivation, and success, coaching and developing your team members.
• You are interested in growing into a leadership role that builds on your professional and technical competence within your team and accompanies your employees in the long term.
• Professional experience in team leadership and/or industrial automation is desirable.
• You speak very good German and English.
• You bring a high willingness to travel with you.
