Tasks

• Fachliche Leitung eines kleinen Entwicklerteams sowie zentrale Rolle in der Weiterentwicklung der Backend-Architektur (Kotlin, PostgreSQL)
• Verantwortung für Konzeption, Weiterentwicklung und Architekturentscheidungen komplexer Backend-Module
• Unterstützung des Teams durch Reviews, Konzepte und aktiven Wissensaustausch
• Umsetzung von Containerisierung mit Docker, Aufbau und Optimierung von CI/CD-Pipelines sowie Monitoring mit dem Grafana-Stack
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Frontend, DevOps und Produktmanagement

Qualification

• Completed natural sciences degree, ideally with a Ph.D.
• Multiple years of backend experience with Kotlin or Java, PostgreSQL, and Docker in containerized environments
• Deep understanding of software architecture, scalable systems, and established CI/CD processes
• Experience in leading small teams and enjoying knowledge exchange, quality, and process optimization
• Analytical, self-responsible working style with clear communication
