Aufgaben

• Technical responsibility for our PHP-based backend systems and their continuous development
• Hands-on development in the area of backend, APIs and business logic
• Further development and structuring of a grown PHP codebase
• Conceptualization, development and optimization of API and service architectures
• Ensuring performance, stability and maintainability of productive systems
• Definition and establishment of coding standards as well as processes for testing and CI/CD
• Closely working with product and department teams, especially in the context of tax-related business logic
• Technical support for the development team and active participation in architecture and implementation decisions

Qualifikation

• Multiple years of experience in PHP development (e.g. Symfony or Laravel)
• Experience with handling grown, productive codebases
• Very good understanding of software architecture (modularization, services, APIs)
• Safe handling of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience in designing and operating REST APIs
• Familiarity with Docker as well as modern CI/CD processes
• High standards for clean, maintainable and performant code
• Consequential hands-on mentality with active development work in daily life
• Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS) in the context of operations or infrastructure
