Job description
Varied Tasks
- Lead an assembly team in shift operations and ensure the required production performance with regard to deadlines, quality, and costs
- Responsibility for monitoring and securing the production schedule (including recording and evaluating actual performance, analyzing, reporting, and communicating deviations, as well as initiating appropriate countermeasures, monitoring KPIs)
- Responsibility for the consistent adherence to and monitoring of work safety and accident prevention regulations, as well as compliance with legal standards and guidelines
- Prepare and conduct daily production shop floor meetings
- Continuous and consistent application and implementation of Lean Production and Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)
- Generate technical/specific requirements from a manufacturing perspective as well as the optimization and maintenance of operating equipment regulations.
- Personnel planning within the assembly team in shift operations, including vacation and absence planning
- Detailed planning of production orders, assignment of priorities, and coordination with adjacent departments
Matching the Profile
- First leadership experience in an industrial environment
- Several years of experience in electromechanical assembly
- Completed Bachelor's degree in technical/commercial field, or training as a state-certified technician/master in the field of electrical engineering/mechatronics
- Experience with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100 regulations
- Proficient in the application of quality techniques/methods (e.g., FMEA, 8D report, root cause analysis, SPC, fishbone analysis, MSA)
- Confident handling of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP (Jira desirable)
- Very good German and English language skills
- Quality-oriented, analytical approach, as well as the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new, complex issues
- As a leader, you bring both teamwork skills and an independent working style and assertiveness
