As Team Lead Quality Assurance Automotive / Vehicle Inspection (m/f/d) at CarOnSale, you will ensure that our vehicle reports, auctions, and data processes are at the level our customers and partners expect.
Location: Berlin Schöneberg – You will work on-site in our office, hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days of home office.

Your Responsibilities:
- You will ensure that team goals and KPIs are met – accuracy, efficiency, and timelines.
- You will review the team's work results (reports, data maintenance, auction adjustments) for quality and compliance with standards.
- You will lead your team in day-to-day operations and provide technical leadership for complex or critical tasks and during intensive work phases.
- You will monitor our processes and take ownership when things go wrong – especially with our major clients, you will ensure that problems are identified and resolved quickly and that the process is back on track. Where necessary, you will develop new processes.
- You will contribute to projects and drive the further development of our processes within the framework of our OKR framework.
- You will create work plans, prioritize tasks, and ensure a structured workflow.
- You will communicate regularly with the team and convey updates, best practices, and feedback.
What You Bring:
- Completed apprenticeship or professional experience in the automotive sector – e.g., as an automotive mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, or in automotive sales. Alternatively: Strong personal interest in vehicles and the willingness to intensely familiarize yourself with vehicle valuation and quality inspection.
- High ownership: You are the first point of contact for your team, but you also think across teams – when processes break or questions arise, you proactively address them and find solutions.
- Experience in team leadership or a comparable management position, ideally in a technical or quality assurance environment.
- Experience in quality assurance, ideally in the area of vehicles or auctions.
- Ability to motivate team members, develop them, and set clear goals.
- High degree of autonomy and reliability in process management.
- Confident demeanor and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient use of office applications and quick learning of new systems.
- Very good German language skills, written and spoken (min. C1), English language skills (min. B2).
