Tasks

• Technical and organizational leadership of the construction team in the field of wastewater technology and plant construction

• Development and construction of machines and plants, e.g., scrapers, rakes, screenings treatment, shut-off devices, and piping systems

• Technical design and calculation of components and systems, such as hydraulics, throughput, conveying capacity, loads, and weights

• Maintenance, further development, and standardization of existing design tools and construction guidelines

• Development of variant constructions through parameterization and reuse of proven assemblies

• Optimization of existing products, considering modern manufacturing processes and economic manufacturability

• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as the Machinery Directive and ATEX Directives

• Close collaboration with Sales, Product Management, Project Management, and Production for technical clarification and implementation

Profile

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or Construction Technology or further training as a Mechanical Engineering Technician (m/f/d)

• Several years of experience in special machine construction, plant construction, or water/wastewater treatment

• Experience in leading a construction team, e.g., as a Team Leader Construction, Construction Manager, or Senior Drafter (m/f/d) with management responsibility

• Very good knowledge of 3D/2D CAD, ideally with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical, and Autodesk Vault

• Good understanding of calculation, design, product standardization, and design for manufacturing

• Proficient in MS Office and good written and spoken German and English skills

• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips for project or coordination purposes
