We are fundamentally redesigning our cloud architecture as part of a strategic transformation program – from the Azure Landing Zone through the setup of modern cloud platforms to the prospective repatriation of selected productive systems to our own data center. Actively shape this change, take on the professional and disciplinary responsibility for our IT System Engineering team, and sustainably develop your employees and the team's technical competencies.

Your tasks

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of our IT System Engineering team – including building up cloud/Azure know-how within the team

• Overall professional responsibility for the operation, availability, and continuous optimization of our entire IT infrastructure – from systems in our own data center to cloud environments

• Active participation in shaping our strategic cloud transformation program: Conception, setup, and further development of our Azure tenant as the basis for the new core platform

• Administration and strategic further development of the Microsoft Entra ID environment

• Coordination of infrastructure projects, prioritization of tasks, leadership of decision-making and coordination processes within IT and other departments

• Professional management of external service providers and system partners (including our cloud partner) – with the goal of gradually bringing know-how into our own team and deciding on the optimal operating model in the medium term

• Contribution to the further development of the IT and cloud strategy as well as ensuring IT security and compliance requirements

Your profile

• Successful completion of a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or similar – alternatively, a comparable completed apprenticeship

• Initial leadership experience or strong motivation to lead and develop a team professionally and disciplinarily

• Know-how in the conception, design, and operation of Azure Landing Zone/Enterprise-Scale architecture as well as in building secure, scalable cloud environments

• Practical experience in the administration and strategic further development of Microsoft Entra ID

• In-depth IT knowledge to operate a fault-tolerant IT infrastructure, including system architecture

• Analytical mindset, structured work approach, and strong documentation skills

• Very good German language skills, good English language skills
