Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) with Experience in Process Optimization

For a smaller company with numerous subsidiaries in a sustainable industry environment and located in downtown Stuttgart, we are looking for you as

Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) plus know-how from process optimization.

Depending on your skills and professional experience, you can earn up to €90,000 p.a. here.

The full-time position offers you a home office component of one day per week after successful onboarding. In addition, there are 30 vacation days.

The position is to be filled through personnel placement. This means: You will have a permanent employment contract with your new employer from the very beginning, who would like to employ you for many years.

Tasks

Voilà, this is what your new job looks like!

• You will lead the financial accounting for the parent company as well as for subsidiaries
• You will manage a team of five employees, for whom you will be a competent contact person
• Among other things, you will be responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
• You will support your team in day-to-day operations by contributing your own work
• You will bring in your experience for further process optimization, including through the use of AI
• Further tasks can be added according to your experience, knowledge, and wishes (feel free to state your expectations during an in-person job interview).

Qualifications

This is what you bring with you:

• You have at least four years of professional experience in a comparable role, including independent financial statement preparation, regardless of whether you have previously managed a team disciplinarily or functionally
• Additionally, you have already gained experience in process optimization in conjunction with the use of AI
• You communicate orally and in writing in very good German
• We are happy to do without the usual personal attributes at this point and would like to get to know you as a person. The most important thing is that you are eager to work with nice colleagues and are an absolute team player who wants to develop professionally.
