Your Tasks in Financial Accounting

• Technical and disciplinary team leadership, personnel management, and workforce planning

• Ensuring proper and legally compliant financial accounting

• Independent preparation of financial statements according to HGB for multiple companies

• Deputizing for and supporting the department head

• Active shaping, further development, optimization, and digitalization of processes in accounting

• Contact person for authorities, auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments

• Support with reporting, planning, and forecasts

What You Bring With You

• Commercial apprenticeship with further training as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or comparable qualification, e.g., business administration degree with a focus on finance or similar

• Several years of experience in financial accounting and controlling

• Ideally, initial leadership experience

• Strong process understanding and enthusiasm for digitalization and automation

• Ideally, experience with digital tools, such as ERP systems, accounting software, document management systems, etc.

• Affinity for numbers and a high sense of responsibility

• Accuracy, reliability, and loyalty

• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

• Pragmatism, flexibility, and empathy
