For our client, a family-owned, Europe-wide operating family business based in Munich and specializing in professional cleaning products, dosing technology, and holistic hygiene solutions for facility cleaning, healthcare, textile and kitchen hygiene, as well as means of transport cleaning, we are looking, by exclusive mandate, for a Head of Export / Customs & Foreign Trade (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible. Your Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Professional leadership, motivation, and development of the export team – as a role model and point of contact for all questions regarding day-to-day operations

• Operational Involvement: Active involvement in export and customs processing – this position combines leadership responsibility with operational depth

• Order Processing: Ensuring timely and high-quality processing of all export orders

• Customs & Foreign Trade: Central point of contact for internal and external inquiries in the area of customs and foreign trade – including ensuring compliance with all legal requirements

• Process Optimization: Analysis and optimization of existing export and customs processes, as well as further development of standards, work instructions, and documentation

• Project Work: Active participation in interdepartmental projects

• Legal Monitoring: Ongoing monitoring of legal changes in export and customs law, as well as implementation of necessary measures

Your Profile

• Professional Qualification: Completed commercial apprenticeship – e.g., as an industrial clerk, clerk for freight forwarding and logistics services, or a comparable qualification

• Professional Experience: Several years of practical experience in export and customs with sound knowledge of customs, preferential, and foreign trade law

• Leadership Experience: Several years of experience in the professional leadership of employees – structured, motivating, and with a hands-on mentality

• Dangerous Goods: Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (ADR, IATA, IMDG) desirable

• Language Skills: Fluent German and very good English skills, both written and spoken

• Personality: Strong communication skills, responsibility, and team orientation – with a structured, pragmatic approach to work
