Team Leader Payroll and Time Management (m/w/d)
Job description
We are a mid-sized corporate group with 23 sales companies in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia, employing more than 1,350 employees, including over 950 at our headquarters in Rosenfeld. We are world market leaders in our industry and export our products to over 120 countries. The focal points of our production are punching and forming technology, welding and assembly as well as plastic processing and polyurethane manufacturing. Our customers are predominantly from the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors. We are looking for a team leader to lead our payroll and time management department. As a team leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of 5-7 employees, including payroll accountants, timekeepers, and administrative staff. Your tasks will include planning, organizing, and controlling the payroll and time management processes, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. In addition, you will work closely with other departments, such as accounting, human resources, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of our payroll and time management systems. The ideal candidate should have a degree in business administration or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in payroll and time management, and excellent leadership and communication skills. You should also be familiar with relevant laws and regulations, such as the German Social Security Code (Sozialgesetzbuch) and the German Labor Law (Arbeitsgesetz). As a team leader, you will have a comprehensive understanding of our company's policies and procedures, including those related to payroll and time management. You should also be able to work independently and make decisions in accordance with our company's guidelines.
