Team Leader Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering (m/f/d)

We are looking for you
For our growing team at the Frankfurt Höchst location, we are looking for you for full-time (40h) and permanent, as an E&I Team Lead (m/f/d).
As an E&I Team Lead (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the Electrical & Instrumentation Team and ensure the safe, reliable, and economical operation of all electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation engineering systems.
What awaits you with us
- You will lead the E&I maintenance activities together with the internal team and external service providers and are responsible for their safe and efficient execution.
- You will ensure the availability, reliability, and integrity of critical electrical, instrumentation, and automation engineering systems.
- You will manage and improve relevant maintenance KPIs in the areas of occupational safety, quality, and costs.
- You will support the planning and execution of shutdowns, turnarounds, and major repair and optimization projects.
- You will develop and mentor your team both professionally and personally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- You will assume the role of the Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) for the site.
What you should bring
- You have completed vocational training with further education to become a master craftsman/certified specialist or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or a comparable field.
- You have at least 5 to 8 years of professional experience in the maintenance of electrical, instrumentation and control, or automation engineering in a chemical or process industry plant.
- You have sound knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory, and safety requirements, as well as experience in contractor management.
- You impress with strong skills in fault analysis and troubleshooting of electrical, instrumentation, or automation engineering systems.
- You have experience in maintenance planning, turnarounds, and leading larger teams and external partners.
- You communicate confidently in German (at least level B2) and are characterized by a cooperative leadership style, EHS awareness, and a high orientation towards improvement.
