Team Leader Investment Management & M&A (m/f/d)

For an established financial service provider with an international investment structure, we are looking for a leader to manage the company's investments together with their team, starting as soon as possible. In close coordination with management, specialist departments, and international investment companies, you will actively shape the further development of the corporate group.

Tasks

• Portfolio Management: ongoing management and strategic further development of the portfolio of domestic and foreign investments
• Committee and Governance Consulting: sparring partner for management and mandataries on legal and structural issues relating to investments, including the establishment of a robust reporting and documentation system
• M&A Responsibility: management of the entire transaction process – from structuring and due diligence coordination to closing negotiations
• Interface Management: close coordination with specialist departments and domestic and foreign investment companies; selection and management of external consultants in the areas of law, tax, and economic and commercial due diligence
• Team Leadership: professional and disciplinary responsibility for a four-person team, including individual development support

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in investment management, corporate development, M&A, or transaction consulting (e.g., auditing, corporate finance)
• Proven experience in leading demanding projects and confident interaction with management and committee levels; experience with regulatory matters is an advantage
• Solid knowledge of corporate law and a good feel for economic contexts in complex structures
• Initial leadership experience, enjoyment in leading and developing employees, and the ability to structure complex topics in a target-group-oriented and decision-ready manner
