As a Team Leader Mechanical Installations, you will combine your technical knowledge with managing and guiding a team of installers. You will ensure that tasks are well-prepared, projects run according to schedule, and your colleagues can perform their work optimally. You are the connecting link between the installers, work preparation, project management, and clients. You will maintain an overview, contribute ideas for technical solutions, and ensure a pleasant collaboration.

What you will do

As a Team Leader Mechanical Installations, you will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of activities within various installation projects. You will ensure that your team knows what needs to be done and that projects are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to agreement.

You will be involved in, among other things:

• Managing, guiding, and motivating installers and technicians;

• Coordinating and distributing tasks within mechanical installation projects;

• Monitoring the schedule, progress, quality, safety, and costs;

• Liaising with project managers, work preparers, clients, and suppliers;

• Ensuring that materials, information, and resources are available on time;

• Contributing ideas for technical issues related to climate control systems, heating, and air handling;

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to more efficient work processes;

• Maintaining good relationships with customers and other stakeholders.

You are close to the technical aspect but at the same time maintain an overview of the bigger picture. Thanks to your efforts, the installers can perform their work well, and projects are successfully delivered.

What do you bring?

You have a solid technical foundation in mechanical installation technology and enjoy managing and helping colleagues grow. You are well-organized, communicate clearly, and can maintain an overview even in unexpected situations.

Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following:

• A completed MBO or HBO education in installation technology, mechanical engineering, or equivalent;

• Several years of work experience in mechanical installation technology, for example as a Senior Installer, Lead Installer, or Team Leader;

• Knowledge of building-related installations, such as heating systems, climate control systems, and air handling;

• Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate colleagues;

• Organizational insight and a good sense of planning and quality;

• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude;

• A proactive attitude and the ability to solve technical and organizational challenges.
