Production Team Leader

A great opportunity for a production team leader lies in Harderwijk. In this role, you are the connecting link on the shop floor. You will manage the team working on our Emmeci machines, monitor the progress of the schedule, and ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will maintain an overview, make adjustments where necessary, and motivate your colleagues to get the best out of themselves and each other.

Within this role, you will receive a lot of responsibility and work in a 3-shift system with your fellow team leaders, operators, and other departments. As a production team leader, you are jointly responsible with the fulfillment team leader for 10 production lines and managing the team members on the lines. You are the point of contact for your team and for colleagues from other departments such as fulfillment. Within this role, you will be involved in, among other things:

• Actively managing and coaching your team of operators;
• Monitoring the production schedule and adjusting for deviations;
• Discussing, coordinating, and providing feedback with your fellow team leader daily during shift changes;
• Identifying bottlenecks, thinking about process improvement;
• Conducting 1-on-1 meetings with team members, guiding development;
• Enforcing procedures and addressing deviant behavior;
• Preventing conflicts, promoting productive collaboration;
• Providing input to the production team manager about performance and improvements;
• Monitoring compliance with regulations regarding quality, safety, occupational health, and environment;
• Actively thinking about improvements within processes, quality, or collaboration.

As a production team leader, you can count on good employment conditions, including: A salary between €3,190.00 and €4,024.00 based on 36 hours.

For this position, we are looking for someone who is confident and has an affinity for technology and process optimization. You also recognize yourself in the following:

• MBO/MBO+ work and thinking level;
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook;
• Familiar with ERP systems;
• At least 3 years of experience in a comparable leadership role;
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
• You always maintain an overview, think ahead, and focus on results;
• Strong communication skills, decisive, and able to connect people;
• You can work well with colleagues.
