Team Leader Operations Customs

At our location in Oirschot (Eindhoven region), you will lead a team within our Customs operation. You will ensure that processes run smoothly, employees develop, and KPIs are achieved. Thanks to your leadership, thousands of international shipments are processed correctly and on time daily within the DPD network.

What will you do?

As a Team Leader Operations Customs, you are responsible for the daily operation and lead a team of customs employees. You monitor progress, adjust where necessary, and ensure optimal cooperation.

An average workday consists of coordinating the schedule, monitoring results, coaching employees, and improving processes. You work in a fixed schedule in two shifts:

• 11:00 - 19:30

• 19:30 - 04:00

This provides variety in your work week and allows you to play an important role in an operation that runs almost continuously.

Your tasks

• Coordinating and managing the daily customs operation;

• Coaching, guiding, and motivating employees;

• Monitoring quality, productivity, and operational KPIs;

• Identifying and implementing process improvements;

• Preparing and following up on reports and analyses;

• Liaising with internal stakeholders and fellow team leaders;

• Ensuring compliance with procedures, safety, and legislation;

• Contributing to optimal staffing levels.

• Flexibility is required when the operation demands it.

What do we offer you?

• A salary between €2,931.25 and €4,187.50 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience;

• A full-time position of 38.75 hours (1 FTE) per week;

What do you bring?

• MBO+/HBO work and thinking level;

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or customs;

• Experience in leading operational teams;

• Experience within logistics, transport, warehousing, operations, or customs. Experience with customs processes is a plus.

• Good command of English and preferably also Dutch;

• Experience with KPI management and process optimization;

• Strong communication skills;

• A proactive and results-oriented attitude.
