Logistics Team Leader

As a Logistics Team Leader, you are responsible for the operational state of affairs on the work floor and you manage a team of 5-10 Warehouse Employees (permanent and flexible):

You participate in the operation and also coordinate the following activities;

• Order picking

• Checking received goods

• Unloading containers and ensuring that the goods are placed in the correct location in the warehouse and registered in the WMS system

• Loading trucks

• You are responsible for accurate time registration of your department;

• You make a significant contribution to an optimal setup of the warehouse and the WMS system;

• You report to and work closely with the Operations Manager and hold regular consultations on daily operational matters;

• You identify areas for improvement and resolve bottlenecks;

• You are responsible for your own safety and that of colleagues in accordance with the instructions provided;

• In addition, you work with goods from third parties that are transported via various channels (road, sea, and/or air transport), whereby the regulations must be followed with extreme accuracy.

• You have an MBO 4 education, preferably in Logistics;

• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position;

• You have a B driver's license and a forklift & reach truck certificate;

• You master the Dutch and English languages in speech and writing;

• You work accurately, are stress-resistant, and flexible;
