Below is an overview of the most important responsibilities and qualifications for this challenging role: Responsibilities: Inbound Goods Stream: · Ensure a flawless goods receipt. · Conduct checks on shipments and report any deviations. · Lead the team responsible for receiving goods. · Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth process. · Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize the logistics process. · Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. · Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes. · Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. · Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve their goals. · Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related field. · At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management. · Proven track record of successfully leading teams and implementing process improvements. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. · Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. · Familiarity with ERP systems and logistics software. · Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar is an asset.
