Team Leader Nursery Intake

Every year, millions of cuttings from IBN find their way to growers worldwide. They originate from our nurseries, where teams cut, plant, root, and grow them. As a team leader, you are of great importance in this. You manage the work effectively and ensure that your colleagues, who often need a little extra help, feel at home. This is what you will do
You are flexible and know how to handle a dynamic work environment. You divide your attention between the employees and the tasks we perform for our nursery in Schaijk. You will work closely with a first employee and learning-work coaches. You are overarching responsible for the efficient flow of the production process in the nursery and for an environment where it is pleasant to work. In this, the employees and the result are always your priority.

Varied work? You bet! One moment you are discussing a new intake with a learning-work coach, the next you are discussing a change in the work process with your supervisor or discussing solutions for potential problems. The next moment, together with an employee, you will have an annual review, focusing particularly on personal development. Or you will have a meeting with an employee and their supervisor to see which tasks best suit this person and whether any adjustments to the work are necessary. This way, you help people for whom work is not a given to build their careers.

Are new employees starting? Then you will ensure optimal guidance together with the first employee. In any case, you ensure that new and existing colleagues always feel that they can come to you with their questions. Furthermore, absence management and administrative tasks are also an important part of your work. In short: a job full of responsibility, freedom, and variety. This is what you get from us

• A gross monthly salary between € 2,875 and € 4,065 based on a 36-hour workweek. Your exact salary depends on your education, knowledge, and experience.
• A one-year contract with a view to a permanent position.
• 8% holiday allowance and 7.55% year-end bonus.

Welcome to the IBN nursery! We operate across 3 locations: Schaijk, Uden, and Beugen. Your fixed workplace is Schaijk. Here you will work with 3 other team leaders and report to the supervisor. A great working atmosphere prevails at all our locations: we are driven, have a passion for our craft, and always strive for the best result together. We also have an eye for each other, are happy to help each other, and are constantly looking for ways to improve our work. And of course, there is room for a joke! As a team leader, you foster this positive work atmosphere and are an example to colleagues.

Furthermore, you have

• A minimum of MBO 4 level education.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Demonstrable affinity with, and preferably knowledge of, plant cultivation.
• Preferably experience with absence management and registration.
• Good communication skills.
