Team Leader

At Decathlon, we kickstart your journey as a Team Leader. This is a high-speed traineeship where we prepare you to run your own store as a Store Leader within 3 to 5 years.

Your Role

• Ownership: You are the entrepreneur of your own sports department. From inventory strategy to coaching your team, you have full control over growth and results.

• Lead your team: You recruit, coach, and motivate your own team. You spot talent and help them (and yourself) reach the next level.

• Run the business: You determine how sports can be commercially utilized in your department. From cool merchandising and inventory management to commercial strategy.

• Make an impact: You increase customer satisfaction and sustainable impact. You guide your team towards proactive service and translate our sustainability goals (like selling circular product lines) to the shop floor.

• Next level moves: You determine your own growth path within our company. Whether you want to grow into a Store Manager role, aspire to an expert position in our Tilburg Warehouse, or want to move to headquarters, Decathlon helps you grow.

What We Offer You

• Salary: A starting salary of €2,720, which can increase up to a maximum of €3,670 gross per month, depending on experience.

• Full Focus: You are on fire 38 hours a week and willing to work a weekend day and/or an evening, as that's when the action happens in retail.
