Team Leader Crossdock

As a Team Leader Crossdock, you are the driving force behind a flawless and efficient flow of goods. With effective task allocation, you ensure that trucks are loaded and unloaded on time. You determine staffing needs, create schedules, and closely monitor daily operations. You quickly identify bottlenecks, after which you immediately act to resolve disruptions.
Furthermore, you are continuously working on optimizing processes and monitoring productivity. You analyze working methods, make improvement suggestions, and ensure that execution proceeds smoothly and according to plan.

In this dynamic environment, you manage a team of approximately 35 crossdock employees and 4 foremen. You are their first point of contact, give clear instructions, distribute tasks, and perform thorough checks.

• Experience in a logistics environment of at least 2 years.
• Forklift experience, preferably with a certificate
• MBO (intermediate vocational education) work and thinking level and good command of Dutch and/or English.

• Manage employees and coordinate daily activities
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks
• Ensure timely loading and unloading of trucks
