Maintenance Team Leader

Responsibilities
Leadership & Teamwork
- Daily management, coaching, and motivation of a team of technicians.
- Organizing shift changes and knowledge transfer.
- Conducting feedback and evaluation interviews.
- Fostering a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Maintenance & Process Optimization
- Responsible for a well-functioning production process on an electrical level.
- Coordinating and executing preventive maintenance, breakdown interventions, and administration.
- Collaborating with other teams to minimize production downtime.
- Acting as a technical expert and point of contact for the team.
- Preparing reports and documentation.
Innovation & Projects
- Actively contributing to improvement suggestions and efficiency projects.
- Involved in the implementation of new technologies, installations, and relocations.
- Analyzing data to support optimizations and sustainability initiatives.
Safety & Training
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and internal procedures.
- Ensuring a well-trained team by providing or organizing training.
- Actively participating in audits, emergency drills, and consultation meetings.
Representing the department during internal and external quality controls.
Profile
- Technical diploma (secondary, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree) in electromechanics, mechanical engineering, maintenance techniques, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a production environment.
- A minimum of 2 years of management experience or readiness for a first step into management thanks to completed soft skills or leadership training.
- Strong technical insight, with knowledge of maintenance and technical plans.
- Experience with maintenance management systems and industrial software.
- Results-oriented communication, with an eye for safety and quality.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
