As a Day Shift Logistics & Administration Team Lead, you will be responsible for the daily management of a team of approximately 7 employees within logistics administration.
You will ensure that all administrative processes behind the goods flows run correctly, on time, and efficiently.
After a thorough introduction to the workings of Konings Zonhoven, you will learn about our logistics processes, systems, and internal collaboration. You will then gradually take leadership of the team and become an important link between different departments.
Your responsibilities
- Coordinate and organize daily activities within the logistics administration team.
- Coach, guide, and motivate employees.
- Ensure correct processing of incoming and outgoing goods flows.
- Track orders, transport documents, deliveries, and logistics registrations.
- Determine priorities, follow up on backlogs, and anticipate deviations quickly.
- Act as a point of contact for logistics, production, planning, customer care, quality, and finance.
- Develop and improve work agreements, procedures, and work instructions.
- Analyze logistics and administrative processes and make suggestions for optimization.
- Actively participate in digitization and improvement projects.
- Contribute to a professional, positive, and results-oriented team culture.
- Report directly to the Logistics Manager.ProfileWhat you bring:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in, for example, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a similar field.
- You want to work in the day shift.
- Interest in logistics processes, administrative goods flows, and supply chain.
- Strong organizational skills and a good overview of different priorities.
- A positive, clear, and convincing communication style.
- The motivation to take responsibility and make decisions.
- A desire to learn and openness to coaching and feedback.
- A solution-oriented mindset with an eye for improvement and efficiency.
- Digital affinity and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
