Teamleader IT Applications (m/f/d)

Do you want to not only manage IT applications but also actively shape the digital transformation of an international company? Then take on a key role in our global IT organization as Teamleader IT Applications.

In this position, you will lead our IT Applications team and be responsible for the further development of our application landscape – from Microsoft 365 and Azure to PLM/PDM solutions and innovative AI and automation technologies such as Microsoft Copilot and the Power Platform.

Tasks

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the IT Applications team, including the further development and promotion of employees
• Ensuring the smooth operation and further development of global IT applications and systems: Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID and Modern Work environment, PLM/PDM (CIM-Database), CAD and adjacent specialist applications, Collaboration, Intranet/SharePoint, DMS, Telephony
• Responsibility for the overarching application architecture, including the definition and further development of standards, roadmaps, and integration concepts
• Responsibility for ODW AI/Automation topics (Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform), including governance, rollout, and enablement
• Management of information security & compliance in the area of responsibility (ISO 27001, TISAX, NIS2) in close coordination with the ISMS
• Coordination and management of global IT projects in close coordination with specialist departments and external partners
• Management and prioritization of global requirements, as well as evaluation and decision-making on Make-or-Buy (in-house development vs. standard software/procurement), including economic and compliance considerations
• Interface between IT and specialist departments, including requirements and process management in coordination with all IT teams
• Management of internal communication and enablement campaigns (e.g., adoption of new tools)
• Responsible for 1st and 2nd level support in the specialist department, as well as user/system support
• Monitoring, managing, and optimizing applications; continuous improvement of IT services, systems, tools, and processes

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT training/further education
• Experience in leading (small) teams
• Good knowledge of: Microsoft 365 / Azure / Entra ID, cloud applications, PLM/PDM, CAD, as well as initial experience in AI/automation technologies such as Copilot, Power Platform, or comparable
• Experience in the setup and operation of IT systems as well as in leading global IT projects
• Knowledge of ISMS/ISO 27001, TISAX, NIS2 is an advantage
• Certifications (e.g., ITIL) are desirable
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
