Teamleader Expeditie

We are exclusively looking for a Teamleader Magazijniers for our client, a new production company of flat glass, fully in the process of building up in Lommel. As Teamleader Magazijn & Expeditie, you are responsible for setting up, organizing and directing the warehouse and expeditie process in a new flat glass factory. You ensure an efficient goods flow, correct inventory management and timely delivery to customers, with attention to safety and quality.

Taken and responsibilities:
Start-up phase:

• Collaborate on setting up the warehouse and expeditie zone.
• Implement work procedures, safety guidelines and ERP processes.
• Train and guide warehouse workers.

• Coordinate receipt, storage and order picking of flat glass and accessories.
• Plan and follow up on deliveries to customers.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform inventory checks.

Team leadership:

• Lead, motivate and coach the team of warehouse workers.
• Prepare work schedules and distribute tasks.
• Evaluate performance and stimulate continuous improvement.

Safety & quality:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use personal protective equipment.
• Report deviations and initiate improvements.

Administration & reporting:

• Correctly register in ERP system.
• Prepare reports on inventory, deliveries and KPIs.

• Experience as team leader in logistics or production environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes, expeditie and ERP systems. Experience with IFS is a plus.
• HGV driver's license and experience with glass transportation is a plus.
• Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization (e.g. LEAN)

• Leadership skills: motivating, communicative strong, problem-solving.
• Stress-resistant and hands-on mentality.
• Strong in teamwork and interdepartmental cooperation.
