Job Description

For Circle K, we are looking for an enthusiastic Team Leader who enjoys taking responsibility and gets energy from leading and guiding a team. As a Team Leader, you will support the Manager in the daily management of the gas station. Together with the Manager and the other Team Leaders, you will ensure that the shop, the sandwich bar, and the restaurant function smoothly and efficiently. You will co-lead the team, motivate employees, and ensure that everyone knows what is expected of them. You are a true people manager who listens to employees, supports them, and sets a good example on the work floor. In addition to leading the team, you will regularly work during shifts. You will ensure that the station is neat and well-maintained, that products are available, and that the sandwich bar always looks attractive. You will monitor the smooth running of daily activities, always paying attention to customer satisfaction. You will ensure that the applicable procedures and food safety standards are correctly followed. Furthermore, you will participate in administrative follow-up, such as orders and inventories. You will also monitor sales figures and contribute to thinking about possible actions when results require it. Together with the other Team Leaders and the Manager, you will ensure good coverage within the station. Therefore, you are both a point of contact for the team and important support for the Manager.
Profile
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within the food sector, hospitality, or retail. You get energy from guiding people and find it important to achieve results together with your team. You are a doer and are not afraid to work on the floor yourself. You set a good example, take responsibility, and know how to motivate employees in a positive way. You are strong in organization and can maintain an overview, even during busy moments. You have a sense of responsibility, take initiative, and are willing to make decisions when necessary. You speak Dutch well and dare to assist customers and colleagues in English or French as well. A specific diploma is less important than your experience, motivation, commitment, and leadership qualities. You are flexible and willing to work in different shifts. Together with the Manager and the other Team Leaders, you will ensure the continuity of operations.

You will receive correct remuneration according to Joint Committee 311, between €2,598.43 gross and €2,981.38 gross, depending on your relevant experience.
