Team Lead Packaging 2 Shifts

As a Team Lead Packaging in Ninove, you will daily guide the packaging process in the pastry department, the beating heart of production. You will work with an enthusiastic team in a chilled environment and ensure that products are packaged correctly, on time, and according to the highest quality standards. You will combine operational presence on the floor with a coaching role towards the packing operators.

Your tasks are varied and challenging:

• you will lead the packaging team, motivate colleagues, and ensure smooth cooperation during the shift
• you will closely follow the planning and product changes and assist where necessary
• you will monitor the quality of the packaged products and check labeling, sorting, and finishing
• you will intervene in minor technical malfunctions and quickly find practical solutions
• you will ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality regulations
• you will support break replacements and help maintain continuity on the work floor
• you will take initiative to make the packaging operation more efficient and transparent

You will enter an environment where ownership, teamwork, and results-oriented work are central. The function requires a clear presence on the floor, a strong hands-on mentality, and the willingness to work in 2 rotating shifts.

For this position, we are looking for a driven team leader with 3 to 5 years of experience and a good sense for people, planning, and quality. You know how to lead a team in a positive way and remain calm when production is under pressure. Experience in a production or packaging environment is a strong asset, as is a practical mindset and a sense of responsibility.

Your profile:

• you have experience in leading, guiding, or motivating a team
• you work on the floor and simultaneously take on a clear leadership role
• you are flexible and willing to work in 2 rotating shifts
• you possess strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• you have a keen eye for quality, safety, and hygiene
• you speak fluent Dutch; knowledge of French is a plus
• you have a sense of responsibility and actively contribute to improvements
• you can travel independently to Ninove

A diploma is less important than your experience, motivation, and ability to thoughtfully connect people and processes.
