We are looking for a motivated and engaged Teamlead UI Design (all genders) in Hamburg, hybrid.

Aufgaben

• You lead the UI work professionally and disciplinarily and strengthen the strategic development of all UI designers.
• You are responsible for resource planning and steer the utilization of the UI team in close coordination with Product Design Leads in our projects and other departments.
• You accompany recruiting processes significantly, make selection decisions, and ensure structured onboarding of new colleagues.
• You foster an inspiring design culture, share best practices across locations, and act as a sparring partner for designers and leads.
• You work indirectly on projects through coaching your team members, works situationally but also hands-on in our ongoing projects or advises when needed at pitches
• You present UI concepts and design decisions convincingly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• You work closely with the leadership of other departments (e.g. UX) together to ensure professional quality and raise the maturity level of the Experience Department.

Qualifikation

• You have extensive experience in UI design for digital products, platforms, or services.
• You design visual systems, typography, layout, motion, and color worlds at a high level and think in scalable design systems.
• You use Figma and other UI tools securely and work routinely in collaborative design setups.
• You lead teams empathetically, clearly, and with professional and disciplinary experience.
• You move confidently in agile project structures and work closely with UX, Tech, Strategy, and Product Management.
• You argue design decisions convincingly, communicate securely in German and English, and persuade in presentations.
