Your Tasks

The BLS Group is developing a modern, modular Multi-Benefit Platform that will be extracted from an existing structure and further developed into a scalable cloud architecture. For this purpose, we are looking for an experienced technical leader who will work operationally and build a strong, cross-functional software and DevOps team. In this role, you will take over the technical responsibility for central platform components, steer ambitious architecture and development projects, and create the foundation for a stable, secure, and performant system landscape. • You will be responsible for architecture, implementation, and operation of modern platform and software components – with a focus on Microservices, API-First approaches, and an AWS-based infrastructure
• You will drive the gradual renewal of existing systems and set up modular, scalable services
• You will build CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and efficient deployment processes and develop them further
• You will lead a strong, interdisciplinary developer and DevOps team – including recruiting, knowledge building, and establishing agile routines
• You will ensure clear priorities, clean architectural decisions, and transparency in progress through close coordination with product management, security, IT infrastructure, and external partners

Your Strengths

• You bring several years of experience in software development and architecture of modern web and cloud systems (e.g. Kotlin, TypeScript, React, Node.js, JVM-based frameworks)
• You have fundamental knowledge of Microservices design, API-First models, and cloud operation, particularly on AWS
• You have successfully taken over technical leadership as a Lead Developer, Tech Lead, or Team Leader
• You are familiar with DevOps automation, containerization, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and logging
• You have good knowledge of IT security and data protection, ideally in ISO 27001-like environments
• You speak at least fluent German
