Team Lead (m/f/d) Compliance - Focus on MaRisk

On behalf of my client, an established financial services provider based in Frankfurt am Main, I am looking for a subject matter expert to lead a small team in the area of MaRisk Compliance. What is particularly exciting about this position is the significant scope for design: You will not be taking over a pre-structured function, but will significantly shape the direction, methodology, and further development of MaRisk Compliance yourself.

Tasks

• Functional leadership of a small team and strategic further development of the MaRisk Compliance function
• Translation of regulatory requirements of MaRisk into lean, viable internal processes
• Ongoing monitoring of regulatory developments and derivation of concrete recommendations for action for the company
• Continuous optimization and monitoring of the Compliance Management System
• Consulting of business units as a sparring partner at eye level on regulatory issues
• Independent execution of risk analyses, control activities, and monitoring measures

Qualifications

• Completed studies in economics, business law, law, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in compliance, internal audit, risk management, or in the auditing environment of a regulated financial institution
• Sound regulatory know-how, ideally supplemented by initial leadership experience
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured, solution-oriented working method
• Convincing demeanor, assertiveness, and strong initiative
• Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
