Teamlead IT-Service & Innovation (m/w/d)

You want to shape how universities use IT services?

At HITS.nrw, you will develop new service and support offers together with universities - from structured service management over service desk and training formats up to innovative solutions for university IT.

You will take on a central role in building a new organization and shape actively how universities in North Rhine-Westphalia will work with IT in the future.

HITS.nrw is a newly founded central IT service provider for public universities in North Rhine-Westphalia. Our mission: to provide modern, secure, and scalable IT services so that universities can focus on teaching, research, and innovation.

What you can expect

• You will analyze the requirements and support needs of universities around IT services together with them and lead concrete measures from there
• The setup and further development of a structured service management including a service desk for universities are within your responsibility
• You will shape new service and support offers actively from the initial idea to implementation in ongoing operation
• You will design and establish training and enablement formats so that knowledge is sustainably anchored in universities
• In your role, you will steer a small team professionally and bring yourself actively into the strategic further development of the department

What you bring

• A completed degree, preferably in (business) informatics, business administration, education science, psychology or comparable
• Experience in service management and the development or further development of service or support offers
• Knowledge in service management (e.g. ITIL), ideally supplemented by experience with agile methods or project work
• Experience with continuous improvement processes and quality management
• A strong ability to communicate and moderate, as well as the ability to translate requirements into concrete solutions
