Teamlead Infrastruktur (gn*)

We, the Certified Security Operations Center GmbH, support companies with our SOCaaS offering by improving IT security and monitoring their IT and OT environments. To do this, we use an in-house developed platform.

In the company, we as an innovative and young team consisting of developers, security experts, and open-source enthusiasts ensure continuous development of our platform. As a team, we work cross-functionally and prepare our platform for maximum benefit.

To strengthen our team at the Bonn (Bornheim) location, we are looking for a Teamlead Infrastruktur (gn*) immediately onsite in full-time.

Your Role

In the context of our current restructuring, we are rebuilding our infrastructure team. As Teamlead, you will take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of this team and give it structure and direction. You will be responsible for the stable operation of our platform infrastructure and thus create the foundation for all other technical teams. You will report directly to the Technical Department Manager.

Tasks

• You lead and develop your team of System Engineers technically and personally - including employee discussions and goal agreements
• You are responsible for the operation and further development of our infrastructure (monitoring, VMs, containers, network)
• You manage the hardware infrastructure as well as the office IT at the Bornheim location
• You drive the automation of our platform forward and develop our Infrastructure-as-Code practices further
• You ensure the availability and security of our internal systems
• You coordinate closely with other teams to fulfill their infrastructure requirements
• You develop our SRE practices further (SLOs, monitoring, incident management)
• You plan and prioritize team tasks, manage the backlog, and work on new hires in the team
• You are responsible for being on call for critical infrastructure systems together with your team

We use the following technologies: Linux (Debian/Alma), Ansible, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana, HashiCorp Vault, Keycloak, Semaphore

Qualification

• Multiple years of professional experience in Linux administration and operating infrastructure platforms
• Experience in disciplinary leadership of technical teams
• Solid knowledge in the areas of monitoring, automation, container technologies, and identity management - with depth in at least one of these areas
• Experience in setting up team structures and processes
• Readiness to participate in on-call duty
• German language skills at C1/C2 level and good English skills in writing and speaking
• Structured working style with the ability to make decisions and lead a team through changes
• Pasión for open-source software and IT security
