Team Lead Controlling (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• Structure & Architecture: You will conceptualize and implement the future Controlling toolkit (KPI systems, reporting structures, standard processes) for the SANTOS Group and further develop existing components (e.g., cost/performance/budget controlling).
• BI Pioneer Work: You will drive the introduction of modern analysis tools (likely PowerBI). You will make data usable and create a living "Single Source of Truth" for management.
• Team Development & Mentoring: You will take on leadership for one Controller. You will support their further development, pass on your knowledge, and form a high-performing team.
• Strategic Business Partnering: You will report directly to the Head of Finance and the CFO. You will prepare complex financial data in such a way that it serves as a direct basis for management decisions. You have the "explorer" gene and won't let go until you've gotten to the bottom of interesting or unusual findings.
• Performance Management: You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting processes, and consolidation. In doing so, you will not only analyze deviations but also proactively develop recommendations for action.

Your Profile

• Experience: Completed university degree (Business Administration, Finance) and at least 5 years of solid experience in controlling, ideally in retail or e-commerce.
• Leadership Mindset: You already have initial experience in functional leadership or mentoring colleagues and see yourself as a coach who motivates and challenges their team. You demonstrate empathy in dealing with people and complex organizations.
• Tool Expert: High IT affinity and experience in implementing BI tools (like PowerBI). Excellent Excel and solid PowerPoint skills are prerequisites.
• Builder Drive: You love creating structures from scratch. "Hands-on" is your natural modus operandi. You work independently, are solution-oriented, and have high initiative.
• Personality: You think entrepreneurially, communicate confidently at management level, and have the ambition to decisively shape the financial future of a market leader.
