We are a kaupapa Māori organisation committed to improving the lives of our whānau. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our team based in Manukau, Tāmaki Makaurau. In this vital role, you will lead a team to deliver exceptional housing and support solutions for some of the most vulnerable people in our community. We provide support for those experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, and addiction. Key responsibilities: * Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of support workers to deliver high-quality services. * Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housing and support services. * Develop and implement effective support plans for clients, ensuring their needs are met. * Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and external agencies. * Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation. * Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and guidance. * Contribute to the strategic development of LinkPeople's services. What you will bring: * Proven leadership experience, preferably within the social services or community sector. * A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and families. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities. * Strong understanding of issues related to homelessness, mental health, and addiction. * A commitment to a kaupapa Māori approach to service delivery. * A full driver's license is essential. * A clean criminal record check is required.
