Technical/Functional Team Leader MS Dynamics Business Central (Canton Ticino)

KA Resources Recruitment is seeking, on behalf of an IT consulting company based in Canton Ticino, a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central technical/functional consultant who will hold the role of Team Leader.

The person will join a technical-functional team and will have a central role in analyzing business processes, designing solutions, and implementing ERP systems based on the Microsoft ecosystem.

The objective will be to support clients and partners in optimizing business processes through integrated, scalable, and effective technological solutions.

The position involves constant interaction with various functions involved in projects and with external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and specialized consultants.

The individual will report to the head of the relevant function and will collaborate with technical, administrative, and project teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise the team, organizing activities, priorities, and workloads.
• Be the technical and functional point of reference for the team on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects.
• Analyze business processes and gather functional requirements.
• Configure, implement, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Migrate existing solutions from Microsoft Dynamics NAV to Business Central.
• Integrate Business Central with Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM) to ensure continuity between commercial and administrative processes.
• Design integrations with company systems and cloud services.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analysis tools for decision support.
• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure scalable and effective solutions.
• Support testing, user training, and go-live.
• Provide post-implementation support and promote continuous improvement.
• Document solutions, configurations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018.
• Experience in configuring main ERP modules, including accounting, sales, purchasing, warehouse, logistics, and production.
• Good knowledge of AL for development and customizations in Business Central and C/AL for managing legacy NAV environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM).
• Good knowledge of Power BI for reporting and data analysis activities.
• SQL / T-SQL for data management and querying.
• Web Services, REST APIs, and OData for integrations.
• DAX and Power Query for advanced reporting and analysis in Power BI.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Knowledge of main business processes in administrative and management areas.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer orientation and ability to understand business needs and translate them into technological solutions.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
