Team Leader

Description Te Tūranga /About the Role: Silver Fern Farms Dargaville is recruiting a Team Leader for their Primary Butchery. You will be joining a team of three team leaders, looking after 46 production staff, with the support of a Department Team Leader. This role is nightshift, with hours between 2.30pm and 12.30am, of 45 hours per week. As a Team Leader, you will have responsibility and accountability for the department and its outcomes. You will play a critical part in ensuring team members are working effectively, and that the department is meeting its targets and goals. You will also be responsible for coaching, mentoring and developing team members, and for identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise. You will work closely with the Department Team Leader and other team leaders to ensure the smooth operation of the department. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on department performance.
