Our client:

We are a leading subacute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centred care. With 65 beds and comprehensive Day Program and Outpatient services, we specialise in Cardiac, Neuro, Cancer, and Multi-trauma rehabilitation, as well as supporting patients funded through NDIS and WorkCover.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader - Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time leadership position where you will play a pivotal role in:

- Leading and developing a team of Occupational Therapists
- Driving clinical excellence across inpatient, day, and outpatient services
- Supporting innovation in rehabilitation programs
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration

- Proven clinical experience in rehabilitation (Cardiac, Neuro, Cancer, or Trauma desirable)
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Patient, service-orientated and more importantly a 'people person'
  • Active listener and critical thinking skills
  • A passion and drive to make a difference
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A learning mindset with a desire to challenge your existing perception
  • Enthusiasm to grow and expand your knowledge, skill-set and career
  • Current drivers licence and car
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
