Team Leader – IT Help Desk

Employment: Permanent, Full-time Salary: 80K-85K, plus superannuation Location: Parramatta, NSW RECEIVABLES PEOPLE SOLUTIONS PTY LTD (Francom) is seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader – IT Help Desk to join our growing Technology team in Parramatta. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is equally comfortable guiding a team as they are resolving technical issues on the ground. Position Summary: The Team Leader – IT Help Desk oversees daily ICT services, ensuring that all incidents are resolved efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person; • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network problems; • Manage and prioritize incident resolution, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT-related issues; • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of services; • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions; • Lead a team of IT Help Desk technicians, providing guidance, training, and coaching as needed; • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT service management. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; • 3+ years of experience in an IT help desk environment; • Strong technical skills and knowledge of ICT systems and technologies; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; • Experience with IT service management tools and processes.
