Team Leader IT Control Room

Who We Are Looking For

For a leading partner company in the ICT sector, we urgently seek a Team Leader IT Control Room to be integrated into an international project in IT Operations. The individual will be the operational point of reference for the Control Room and will coordinate a team of junior IT Specialists engaged in monitoring, alert management, ticketing, first-level troubleshooting, and technical escalation activities. The role requires proven technical experience and team coordination experience in Control Room / IT Operations contexts, the ability for direct client relationship, and autonomy in drafting operational documentation and Knowledge Transfer materials.

Main Activities

• Support junior consultants as a technical and organizational focus point
• Operational coordination of the junior IT Specialist team
• Supervision of monitoring, ticketing, incident management, and escalation flows
• Direct interface with the client for updates, critical issues, and operational alignments
• Drafting, updating, and maintaining operational procedures and runbooks
• Preparation and management of Knowledge Transfer materials

Main Requirements

• Previous and proven experience in Control Room / IT Operations
• Experience in coordinating junior resources or operational teams
• Experience in drafting technical documentation, operational procedures, and KT
• English at least B2+, written and spoken
• Immediate or short-term availability

Expected Technical Skills

The candidate must possess solid technical foundations consistent with the Control Room context and the activities performed by the coordinated team, particularly in:

• Active Directory, GPO, and Windows environments
• SQL and query writing skills
• Linux / Unix systems and terminal usage
• Servers, data centers, VPNs, and firewalls
• Ticketing tools and monitoring platforms
• First-level troubleshooting, anomaly analysis, and escalation
• Knowledge of the difference between ping and traceroute

Preferential Title

• Experience in international or multi-country Control Rooms
• Experience with Windows servers
• Basic use of PowerShell scripts
• Experience in remediation activities
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes
• Microsoft MS-900 certification or training course

Position: Permanent contract CCNL Metalmeccanico Confapi with an annual gross salary range of €36,000 – €40,000
