Team Leader

Position: ICT Team Leader Lead Digital Workplace & End-User Support

Language: Fluent in Dutch & English

Location: Deventer / Enschede (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract (no ZZP)

This is what you will do:

In this role, you'll be the link between strategy, team development, and operational execution. You'll ensure a healthy balance between workload, quality, and personal growth. Specifically, this means:

• Personnel development and coaching

o Conducting initial, performance and assessment interviews.

o Guiding employees in their careers and personal development.

Actively deploy strategic workforce planning and competency development.

• Leadership and culture

o Coaching leadership of approximately 25 IT employees, both hierarchically and in terms of performance.

o Creating and safeguarding a professional, results-oriented culture in which collaboration is central.

Performing GAP analyses on leadership competencies to gain insight into development points and translate these into concrete improvement actions.

o Stimulating an agile mindset and optimizing Scrum teams.

• Organization and strategy

o Translating organizational goals into clear team objectives.

o Monitor the IT strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives.

o Participate in discussions about transitions and professionalization of the department.

• Operational responsibility

o Planning and organizing the deployment of people and resources.

o Managing budgets (rewards, training budget, etc.) and capacity planning.

o Facilitate training and knowledge development within the team.

• Change management

o Actively contribute to transitions, reorganizations and cultural changes.

o Drafting and implementing professionalization plans.

o Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters to further strengthen agile working methods.

What we ask of you is that you please provide substantiated answers to these points

• At least 8 years of experience in a similar managerial role (experience with transitions or reorganizations is an advantage).
• Affinity with ICT and experience with change management.
• Excellent coaching skills and proven success in team development.
• Completed higher professional education.
• Strong communication skills, connecting and organizationally sensitive.
• Fluent Dutch in speech and writing.
