Team Leader Facilities Operations (fixed-term)

Role of the position

Coordination and supervision of operations services in oil and gas facilities and field operations services (on-site operations and minor maintenance, methane emission monitoring and measurement) carried out by subordinate personnel. Ensures safe and sustainable operations services by organizing and leading the team.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises operations and field operations activities within its area of responsibility;
• Ensures safety and operational performance at OMV Petrom standards;
• Provides input regarding operational planning and monitors the execution of activities;
• Identifies critical activities, develops and proposes improvement options at all levels of activity;
• Manages material resources and the activity of the subordinate team;
• Coordinates the activity of subordinate personnel and verifies daily activity and production reports;
• Verifies and monitors activity and production reports and transmits information to the HoD Onshore Operations;
• Periodically verifies the knowledge level of subordinate personnel to ensure that installation operating conditions, work tasks, and emergency procedures are known, and makes proposals for training to improve personnel performance;
• Ensures the implementation and compliance with HSSE requirements, as well as the use of protective equipment according to technical instructions;
• Ensures that all anomalies, non-conformities, and malfunctions are reported appropriately according to procedures and SLAs.

Ideal Candidate

Experience/Education/Certifications

• Graduate of bachelor's university studies in the Oil and Gas field;
• Relevant professional experience of over 5 years in activities specific to the oil and gas industry, of which at least 2–3 years of experience in coordination/leadership;
• Solid knowledge and experience in oil and gas production operations and crude oil, gas, and water treatment facilities;
• Experience in surface and subsurface operations, maintenance, and specific technologies;
• HSSE knowledge and application of standards in daily activity;
• Ability to identify critical activities and propose improvements;
• Very good knowledge of standards and best practices in production, technology, engineering, legal provisions, and process safety;
• Basic knowledge of operational planning and analysis;
• PC operation knowledge – Word, Excel, and other specific programs;
• Knowledge of the English language, written and spoken, advanced level.
• Category B driving license.
