Responsibilities:

• Execution of criteria, Typical Sections, evaluating/developing the technical feasibility of various design components.
• Develop plastic components using CAD for product definition and verification of interfaces with other components;
• Prepare development meetings with CAD team and relevant areas;
• Development of a robust project, seeking the best compromise between performance, quality, and cost.

Requirements:

• Tech-level mechanical or electromechanical education.
• Intermediate or higher English level.
• Experience developing external and/or internal component finishes.
• Experience with NX and/or CATIA software.
• Experience with Teamcenter and/or Enovia PLM.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, mold development, and industrial engineering.
• Knowledge and application of GD&T.

Additional Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering education and post-graduate degree
• Knowledge in Vismockup.
• Knowledge about regulations (CONTRAN, ECE, FMVSS, CMVSS).
• Knowledge in preparing technical and management reports, such as: parts list, assembly sequences, DFMEA, release control, cost control.
