Team Leader - Cash Registers


The successful candidate will have key responsibilities including:
  • Offering excellent service and retaining customers;
  • Improving and perfecting sales skills of employees by encouraging the use and application of sales techniques and company programs;
  • Working with the manager to achieve sales targets and customer service objectives, ensuring that employees understand their role in achieving these goals;
  • Collaborating with the management team to support promotional events;
  • Solving customer service issues;
  • Supporting merchandising activities by ensuring the store is ready for business;
  • Tracking pending orders and special orders when required;
  • Supporting the manager in controlling inventory throughout the year;
  • Ensuring effective communication to transmit information and ensure employee understanding;
  • Supporting the manager in the integration of new employees;
  • Collaborating on identifying training and development needs for employees;
  • Promoting and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment, setting an example by following company procedures;
  • Completing other tasks assigned and defined by their supervisor in relation to the job.
Required skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills;
  • Oriented towards results and customer service;
  • Ability to mobilize and motivate others;
  • Excellent listening skills;
  • Able to delegate, inform, and manage priorities.
Requirements:
  • Diploma of secondary studies;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in retail sales;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Availability to work a variable schedule (day, evening, and weekend);
  • Able to delegate, inform, and manage priorities.
