Team Leader - Building Market

As Team Leader, you will ensure a well-running store in Amsterdam Oud West, satisfied customers and a motivated team on the shop floor. You have leadership over a smaller store, which allows you to serve and advise customers from A to Z.

Do you know everything about DIY and home improvement and have 3-5 years of leadership experience within retail? Then we're looking for you!

What will you do?

In this role, you will lead a team of 4-6 store employees and ensure that everything runs smoothly. You:

• Lead the team and ensure a good work atmosphere;
• Are the point of contact for both customers and colleagues;
• Takes end responsibility for all financial processes, including cash register and back office;
• Sets commercial opportunities on the shop floor and plays actively in them;
• Makes analyses based on sales and inventory management;
• Ensures a neat, tidy store and correct inventory;
• Helps actively with tasks on the shop floor - you stand right in the team;
• Are willing to travel by public transport or bike;
• Takes part in personnel planning, opening/closing, and daily tasks.

What do you bring?

• 3-5 years of leadership experience within retail;
• Knowledge of financial administration;
• Commercial insight;
• Experience with KPIs and making analyses;
• Experience in coaching and supporting a team;
• DHZ knowledge and knowledge about SAP(BW) is an advantage.
