Job description

PROHUMAN is looking for a Team Leader to coordinate the team of operators in the production area to ensure the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and performance objectives, by applying Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the daily activity of GAP operators, ensuring adherence to Work Standards (SWS);
  • Monitors and ensures the achievement of production objectives (quantity, quality, scrap, efficiency, OEE);
  • Monitors daily performance indicators (SQCDP) and reports deviations to the Production Supervisor;
  • Ensures compliance with Health and Safety at Work (EHS) rules and the application of 5S rules in their area;
  • Manages process deviations and collaborates with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams for rapid problem resolution;
  • Coordinates team autonomy activities (Autonomous Maintenance / AM Step 0-3);
  • Participates in daily analyses (GAP Meeting, UAP SQCDP) and supports action plans;
  • Proposes and implements continuous improvement actions (kaizen, ergonomics, waste reduction, SMED);
  • Supervises operator training at the workstation and maintains competencies (training matrix);
  • Supports the mold/equipment changeover process, ensuring team coordination and adherence to safety standards;
  • Replaces operators in emergency situations to ensure continuous production flow.

Requirements:

  • High school or university education (technical background is an advantage);
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial production (automotive ideal);
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality, and Level 1 maintenance;
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing / TPM / 5S / SQCDP principles;
  • Coordination and communication skills with operational teams;
  • Basic PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Basic knowledge of English;
  • Proactive attitude, results-oriented, real-time decision-making ability.
